Guests passes and Fees: WHSC welcomes guests at any time! Please be aware there is a $5 daily fee except during special events, when the daily fee is $10 (please check our Calendar of Events for special event days). Discount guest pass cards are available for $40 (10 passes). Guest passes may be purchased through your Member Splash account or at the front desk of the pool.
All guests must be accompanied by an adult member and are the responsibility of that sponsoring member. Guests that live within the Glenelg High School pyramid (10 mile radius) are limited to six visits annually.
Pavilions and pavilion rental: Pavilions are occupied on a first-come, first-served basis, except when rented. The cost to reserve is $15 (for a maximum of four hours), and must be requested through the lifeguard office by filling out and signing a reservation form. Rentals are on a first-come, first-served basis. On the day of your rental a sign will be posted at your site with your party name. Only three pavilions are available for reservation each day – NO EXCEPTIONS. The remainder will remain available on a first-com, first-served basis.
- Private– Please check our bulletin board (across from the Lifeguard desk) for advertised local swim instructors. (WHSC is not responsible for scheduling or pricing of private lessons and does not endorse any teacher advertised there.)
- Group Lessons: Starfish Academy– Each year WHSC sponsors week-long group lessons for $50 per child. Please check the bulletin board across from the lifeguard office for the schedule, instructor roster, and signup sheet.
Resignation of membership: There are two methods available to resign your membership:
- Mail your resignation notice (a simple signed letter will suffice) to WHSC, P.O. Box 91, Lisbon MD 21795, or
- Submit a “Withdrawal Request” through the Member Splash website. You must be logged in to your Member Splash account, and choose “Withdrawal Request” from the menu.
Resignations must be received by the annual dues due date in order to not be responsible for the current years dues. If resignation is sent after due date (postmarked letters or online form date stamp) you will be held responsible for the summer’s annual dues. This is non-negotiable and was in the initial pool membership contract you signed.
**When you resign, your initial bond of $700 will be refunded to you only after membership is full and your bond is sold to a new member on the club’s wait list . (Refund checks, if issued, are usually posted only after the start of the swim season, and once summer membership numbers are finalized.)**
Further Questions: For specific membership questions, please email email@example.com or contact the Club by phone during pool hours.
