We are a non profit club, run by an elected, all-volunteer Board of Directors which meets monthly. All members are welcome at each meeting and encouraged to be involved in social events, as well as team activities and fundraiser.

Weather Related Closings
We do our best to keep the pool open every day, but some days Mother Nature just doesn’t cooperate! When it’s rainy or cold, or both, the Board consults with DRD Management while looking at the weather forecast and may decide to close the pool early or open late. This helps us reduce staff costs for the season overall. When we do close due to weather, we will post the closing on our Facebook page as soon as possible. Please check there or feel free to call the pool to see if we are open.
During open hours, DRD policy states if it thunders, the pool must be cleared for 30 minutes. If there is lightning, the pool is cleared and everyone must wait the 30 minutes under the big wooden pavilion or leave the pool grounds. The clock resets to 30 minutes with each additional clap of thunder or spotting of lightning.
